NFA ENGRAVING

Keeping it Legal

The ATF mandates that all NFA firearms must be properly marked. Failure to comply can lead to significant legal consequences, including fines and/or the confiscation of your firearm.

Ownership Identification: Engraving provides a clear, permanent way to identify your firearm, helping to establish ownership and deter theft.

You have two options for getting an engraving done:

- You may set an appointment to have the engraving done while you wait so you may take it home with you.

- You may drop it off and we will work it into our schedule and engrave it within 7 business days.

- Each engraving appointment is good for up to 4 engravings in one appointment.

- More than 4 engravings shall require subsequent appointments, which can be booked back-to-back.

The first engraving is $50, and each subsequent engraving done at the same time is $35.

Per NFA requirements:

All engravings must have a minimum of 1/16” tall character height. All engravings must be unobstructed. The engraving must be etched into the metal of the receiver. If the receiver is marked “Multi” caliber from the factory, we must engrave the caliber to match the Form 1.

Within these requirements, we can put the engraving almost anywhere that it will fit.

Things you MUST bring for any engraving:

Driver’s License or Concealed Carry ID. Copy of the approved Form 1.

If you can bring just the receiver or barreled action, it is easier for us to do the engraving.

We do not do engraving on polished brass or other polished surfaces.
